we believe that wellness means more than just how we feel. It is how we live. From our social interactions and intentional behaviors to our internal dialogue and blind habits, everything we do affects our human health.
With over forty years
of combined lived-experience and a passion for well-being, Jenny Landon and Craig A. Miller have focused their attention on four primary aspects of the human experience.
Awareness of one’s own health
When these aspects are understood and adequately supported, we improve our ability to obtain and maintain optimal wellness.
By merging their work
in the mental health and suicide prevention field with their own expertise, Jenny and Craig have developed four comprehensive programs to specifically address each of the four aspects of the human experience. These programs are designed to not only support businesses and organizations with developing healthier environments, but also provide individuals with the tools necessary for sustaining these environments through healthier conversations and behaviors. Taking this approach allows for a custom experience that meets individuals and communities exactly where they are to provide them with the support they need to move forward in a healthy and constructive manner.
co-facilitated by Jenny Landon and Craig A. Miller, is presented with an in-depth, encyclopedic view on the subject matter and is delivered with compassion, empathy, and expertise. Descriptions for each are provided below.
Losing my dad to suicide has by far been the most painful and isolating experience of my life. I originally founded Growing Out Of Darkness based on my desire to donate copies of Growing Through Grief to anyone in need. I firmly believe that no one should have to pay to feel supported or to know that they are not alone in this journey. We are in this together.
