Dr. Crystalin Montgomery's Bio​

  • Dr. Montgomery is a MN Board Registered Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Acupuncturist, and currently sees patients virtually for naturopathic and functional medicine care. She also sees patients for acupuncture at the University of Minnesota Physicians Psychiatry Clinics (Behavioral Health Clinic for Families and St. Louis Park  Psychiatry Clinic). She currently works with people of all ages, offering general support for prevention of disease, as well as support that  is specific to those experiencing mental and behavioral illness, chronic digestive conditions, environmental illness, and conditions affecting women over the lifespan (menopause, adolescence, post-partum recovery and mood support).

  • Dr. Crystalin Montgomery earned a Doctorate of Naturopathic medicine and a Masters of Acupuncture from the National University of Natural Medicine, the oldest accredited Naturopathic school in the nation. She is a Registered Naturopathic Doctor in the State of Minnesota. She has a Diplomate of Acupuncture from the NCCAOM, and is licensed in acupuncture in the State of Minnesota. She is also a certified Holistic Pelvic Care practitioner. 

  • Dr. Montgomery came to Naturopathic and Classical Chinese medicine via her experience as a collegiate athlete and coach. Her personal experience with sports-related injuries led her to explore various approaches to optimize her body’s recovery.  She became interested in learning how to utilize nutrition, movement and other forms of natural healing to keep the body in top shape and prevent injuries.  

  • Prior to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist, Dr. Montgomery spent six years as a collegiate and youth soccer coach.  During that time she found her passion in teaching young people about a balanced approach to playing and life through a more profound understanding of fitness and nutrition.

    • $350: Initial visit

    • $200/hour: Follow-up visits (fees adjusted to length of visit)

  • Insurance (co-pay varies with insurance)/cash-pay ($120)

  • In-person acupuncture sessions for MN residents (call 952-525-4500 to schedule)

  • Mind-body virtual/online classes for US/International individuals
