Meaningful Connections

Having meaningful connections with others offer us purpose, inspiration, and a sense of belonging. Regardless of whether it’s your best friend or a stranger on the street, be in tune with those around you, and be willing to offer kindness and support to those in need.

I've been fortunate to have an incredible village of people who continuously push me past my comfort zone, encourage me during times of self doubt, and love me even when I feel unlovable, but some of the people who've made the most significant impact on who I am today have been the people who were in my life just long enough for a mere conversation.

The idea behind meaningful connections is more than just focusing on the people closest to you. It's being open and aware of the people all around you. Say hello, start a conversation, share wisdom, resist being defensive and/or closed minded if someone offers you support. Be the person you wish someone was to you in your greatest time of need.

Most of all ... the purpose of meaningful connections is to share love and gratitude with others.
